A man allegedly struck a female officer in the face after officers responded to a disturbance in the car park of a North Richmond hotel.
Officers responded to reports of a disturbance in the vicinity of the car park about 11.40pm on Saturday, October 5, Hawkesbury police said in a statement.
"Police had cause to speak with two males upon their arrival at the location," the statement said.
"Police will allege a female police officer was struck in the nose by a 28-year-old male from Hobartville."
The man was restrained by police and arrested before being taken to Windsor police station.
The man has been charged with assaulting police, offensive behaviour, and offensive language. He is due to appear before Windsor Local Court later later this month.
