A man has allegedly kicked and spat at police after entering a railway corridor and being escorted back to the platform.
Hawkesbury police received reports a person had entered the corridor near Clarendon railway station about 11pm on Thursday, September 26. Officers attended and located a man, escorting him back onto the railway platform.
"Whilst on the platform police will allege the male lashed out ... kicking and spitting," a police statement said.
A 38-year-old man was arrested and taken to Windsor police station.
He was charged with two counts of assaulting police, and two charges relating to entering the railway corridor and railway property without authorisation.
He was also charged over an alleged stealing offence that occurred about 10am that day at a Richmond supermarket.
The man appeared before Penrith Local Court.
