Police have appealed for two motorists to come forward after a pedestrian was hit by a car and suffered serious head injuries in Windsor.
A 38-year-old woman was walking west across Macquarie Street near Pizza Hut, Red Rooster and Hawkesbury Honda Motorcycles about 4.50am on September 20 when she was hit, according to police.
"Two vehicles slowed and steered around her and continued on. A third vehicle struck her and failed to stop and assist," police said in a statement.
"The woman was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to hospital in a critical but stable condition."
Hawkesbury police established a crime scene, which was then examined by the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit.

"Investigators are now appealing for two motorists who were in the area between 4.30am and 5am on Friday, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000."
