A man has been threatened with a knife before having his property stolen during an armed robbery in Richmond.
Hawkesbury police stated the incident happened about 6.40pm on Sunday, August 25, with investigations leading to the arrest of two men this week.
"Hawkesbury detectives commenced an investigation following a report of an armed robbery ... in the Richmond CBD where a male was threatened with a knife by two males before a number of property items were taken from him," police stated.
A search warrant was executed on a Windsor home on Tuesday, September 3 and a man was subsequently arrested and taken to Windsor police station.
A second search warrant was executed on a Hobartville home on September 4, and a second man attended Windsor police station later that day.
A 21-year-old Windsor man has been charged with robbery armed with an offensive weapon, dishonestly obtaining property by deception and two counts of possessing a prohibited drug.
A 19-year-old Hobartville man has been charged with robbery armed with an offensive weapon and possessing a prohibited drug.
Both men were refused bail ahead of court appearances.
