SPRING has sprung! And what better way is there to celebrate the start of the warmer months than by attending the Secret Garden and Nursery's annual Spring Fair?
There will be plants galore, along with fun and games for the whole family, and money raised will go towards a good cause.
The Spring Fair is one of the main fundraising events for the Secret Garden, located at Western Sydney University's Hawkesbury Campus.
There will be hundreds of lovely plants at bargain prices, as well as lots of food on offer including devonshire teas, BBQ, and wood-fired pizza cooked in the on-site pizza oven.
There will be an array of market stalls selling all manner of local wares including arts and crafts, gifts, homemade jams and more, set on the Village Green.
On the entertainment side, there will be live local musicians playing all day.
For the kids, there will be cute and friendly farm animals to meet, as well as a fun train to ride, and pony rides.
The site features a retail nursery, accessible gardens, farmyard animals, a children's playground, a fairy garden, the Mud Brick Café, candle making, music room, recycling project, woodwork workshop, Hawkesbury Valley Men's Shed and Riding for the Disabled all on site at the campus.
The fair is scheduled for Saturday, September 7 at 9am until 4pm. Entry is $2.
The garden is located at WSU Hawkesbury Campus, on Clydesdale Lane, Richmond (enter via Londonderry Road).
