Eight Hawkesbury non-profit organisations and community groups have shared in $52,425 funding from the local ClubGrants Scheme, which is funded by local clubs.
The Panthers North Richmond grant recipients were Elizabeth Street Extended Hours Preschool ($7,000), Wilberforce Early Learning Centre ($7,000) and Golden Valley Children's Learning Centre ($7,000).
Windsor RSL grant recipients were Windsor South Public School P&C ($6,000), Bligh Park Community Services ($8,000) Australian Foundation for Disability ($3,000), and Hawkesbury Hospital Auxiliary ($4,000).
Richmond Club granted Learning Links $10,425 for Counting for Life at Hobartville Public School.
Hawkesbury Mayor, Councillor Barry Calvert, announced the funding at a presentation on Tuesday, August 13 at the Hawkesbury City Council Chambers. Representatives from the donating clubs awarded the cheques to the successful organisations.
