Two winners - one of whom remains a mystery - have scooped a total of $400,000 in Lucky Lotteries prize money in Richmond on the same day.
Two lots of Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot numbers were drawn on Monday, August 5, with each draw offering a guaranteed first prize of $200,000.
A Richmond woman who purchased her ticket from Richmond Marketplace won draw 1414, scooping $200,000, which she plans to use to pay off her mortgage.
The thrilled winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, had her morning commute to work interrupted to receive the news.
"I [was] on the train, on my way to work, and I had some spare time, so I thought I'd check my ticket and that's when I saw I'd won," she told a NSW Lotteries official on Tuesday morning.
"I am feeling really happy about it. I am a bit overwhelmed to be honest but it's a big relief.
"I will put it towards my mortgage and might leave a bit to have some fun with."
Richmond Marketplace Newsagency sales assistant Ryan Prangnell said the outlet was also celebrating.
"It was quite surprising when it came up on the terminal," he said. "We are very excited about it and we are telling all of our customers.
"We are glad the winner has come forward and wish her all the best with her prize.
"This is our second Lucky Lotteries first prize we have sold this year, hopefully we sell another this year and make it a hat-trick."
Meanwhile, NSW Lotteries is still searching for another Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot first prize winner who won $200,000 in draw 1413 on the same day.
The lucky winner purchased their ticket at O'Briens Newsagency in Richmond Mall.
"If you realise you are holding the winning ticket, contact Golden Casket on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize," a NSW Lotteries statement said.
