Hawkesbury Agricultural College (HAC) will hold their annual 'Back to HAC' day this Saturday, August 10 at the College Oval, Richmond.
In the final round of the Suburban Rugby Competition, HAC will celebrate the long history of their club as they play host to Newport Breakers Rugby.
HAC Rugby has been together since 1891 and every year celebrates by inviting all past and present members of the club and college to return for a day of rugby and fun.
It is an exciting day for all members of the club, especially as the younger players have the opportunity to meet and interact with the Old Boys, who pass on the long standing traditions and history of one of Australia's oldest rugby clubs.
HAC only have one team left in the race for the finals but all teams would like to round out their seasons with wins.
The day kicks off with Third Grade at 11:15am, followed by Colts at 12:30pm.
Second Grade will be a great competition as both teams vie for position in the top four. Currently HAC sit in fourth and Newport in second.
After Second Grade, a traditional Old Boys game will be played against a mixed students and colts team that will see the past and present of HAC go head-to-head on the College Oval.
The day will be rounded out by First Grade at 3:15pm.
Speeches for the evening will take place at the University, at Stable Square.
Everyone is invited to come down and join in the days events, celebrating the history of HAC rugby.
