A-League battlers Central Coast have added a second experienced player to their roster in as many days by signing South Korean midfielder Kim Eun-Sun.
The 31-year-old, who has been training with the Mariners since the start of the pre-season, signed a one-year deal on Friday.
He has played all of his senior career for clubs in his homeland, but gained exposure to A-League opposition during two Asian Champions League campaigns for Suwon Bluewings.
"Kim is a high calibre signing for not just the Mariners but the A-League," said Mariners coach Alen Stajcic.
"His technical skills combined with his experience will be of great benefit in the development of our players and particularly our younger players coming through the ranks."
The signing follows the Mariners announcing a one-year deal for former Adelaide and Newcastle goalkeeper Mark Birighitti on Thursday.
Central Coast has finished bottom of the A-League two seasons in a row but are hopeful of mounting a resurgence under Stajcic, who took on the challenge after his controversial pre-World Cup axing as coach of the Matildas.
Following Mike Mulvey's sacking in March, Stajcic was appointed caretaker coach for the last six games of the 2018-19 season before he signed a three-year contract in May.
The Mariners made an encouraging start to Stajcic's tenure by beating Maitland FC 2-0 on Wednesday to advance to the last 16 of the FFA Cup.
