A man stopped by police for a random breath test allegedly uncovered a knife hidden in the waistband of a driver's pants.
Hawkesbury Proactive Crime Team officers were patrolling the the Bligh Park area about 8.30pm on Friday, July 12 when they stopped a vehicle to conduct the random breath test, Hawkesbury police stated.
Knife discovered by police
"Police had cause to conduct a search of the 28-year-old driver from Gwandalan, locating a knife concealed within the waistband of his pants," the statement said.
"The male was cooperative with police as the knife was seized."
The man has been served with a court attendance notice for having custody of a knife in a public place', and he is due to appear before Windsor Local Court next month.
