A man has been charged over an alleged domestic offence that left a second suffering multiple injuries.
Police were called to reports of a domestic violence-related assault at a Bligh Park home on July 6, arriving to find a man suffering multiple injuries, a Hawkesbury police statement said.
The alleged offender had left the scene and officers commenced an investigation.
" About 11.10pm on Friday, July 12, Hawkesbury Proactive Crime Team officers sighted a 40-year-old Riverstone male riding a push bike in the vicinity of Woods Road, Riverstone," the statement said.
"The male rode away from police but was eventually arrested in a nearby car park."
The man was taken to Riverstone police station and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He remains in custody ahead of an appearance before Penrith Local Court next month, police stated.
