Turn junk into jewels and waste into wonder at a free Recycled Kitchen Garden workshop - part of Hawkesbury City Council's War on Waste series.
Learn to create a low-cost productive garden using items commonly thrown out into landfill, compost (created from 'waste') and reclaimed plants (plants, cuttings and seeds borrowed from a friend's garden), to create a recycled kitchen garden.
The War on Waste workshops are a NSW Environment Protection Authority, Waste Less, 'Recycle More initiative' funded by the waste levy.
The workshop will take place on Thursday, June 27, 10am-12pm, at Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor.
Bookings are required - call 4560 4566, or book online at Eventbrite. Seats are limited.
Attendees must be aged 16 years or over.
