Maroota Public School is gearing-up for its annual Maroota Muster, a family fun day with carnival rides, classic cars and prizes.
Browse an array of market stalls selling fruits and vegetables and crafts, and pick up lunch from the range of hot food and snack stalls.
In true fun-fair style there will be showbags, face-painting, jumping castles, pony rides, a petting zoo, and a chocolate wheel with prizes.
Check out the woodchopping, woodturning, sheep shearing, and dance displays, and have a go at Knight School.
For the machinery enthusiasts there will be an array of vintage tractors, trucks and farm machinery on display.
The Classic Car Competition will bring a variety of old cars to look at - first prize is $200, second is $100, and third is $50. Entry is $5 per car for the competition.
Maroota Public School is a small rural primary school and the Muster is their annual school fundraiser.
"We work very hard every year to raise as much funds as we can for our wonderful students and teachers," said the Muster team.
The Muster will take place at the school, 4540 Old Northern Road, Maroota, on Sunday, August 18, 10am until 3pm.
