Thirty-four-year-old dies at scene of crash in Riverstone

A man has died after his motorcycle collided with a truck at Riverstone.

The motorcycle was travelling along Garfield Road East when it crashed into the Hino truck, believed to be turning right onto Edmund Street, about 2.15pm on Fridaym June 7, a police statement said.

"The rider, a 34-year-old man, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics but died at the scene," police stated. "The male driver of the truck was uninjured.

"Officers from Quakers Hill Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
