Labor's Susan Templeman has clawed back 65 votes but Liberal Sarah Richards is still ahead, according to the Australian Electoral Commission's (AEC) latest figures for Macquarie.
Ms Richards had been ahead by 196 votes yesterday morning (Thursday), however figures published by the AEC shortly before 6pm yesterday showed her margin had narrowed to 131.

With 88.01 per cent of the vote now counted, Ms Richards has captured 50.07 per cent of the vote on a two party preferred basis, with Ms Templeman 49.93 per cent.
The figures represent 45,694 votes for Ms Richards and 45,563 for Ms Templeman.
Counting will continue today (Friday).
