The Ladies Hawkesbury Golf Classic 2019 tee'd-off yesterday as competitors from around the area came down to Windsor Country Golf Club for day one of the three day event, with an emphasis on friendly participation and keen competition.
The 54 hole Single Stableford and daily Two-Person Best Ball (2BBB) events are being run in conjunction and are being played at Windsor, Lynwood Country Golf Club and Richmond Golf Club on May 7-9.
Members of the three home clubs will be involved in the event which is now in its 10th year.
They will be joined by visiting players from Dunheved, Penrith, Glenmore, Tallwoods, Castle Hill, Wallacia, South West Rocks, Shelly Beach and Surfers Paradise.
There will be daily prizes awarded to participants, including Nett and Scratch prizes, 2BBB prizes and novelty prizes, along with 54 hole Nett and Scratch prizes (for singles only).
There will also be a trophy awarded at the end of the three days to Individual best score in the 54 hole Nett aggregate score.
They will be presented with The Hawkesbury Ladies Golf Classic Trophy.
Day two of the event is being played today at Lynwood Country Golf Club at 253 Pitt Town Bottoms Road, Pitt Town.
Tomorrow will see the third and final day being played at Richmond Golf Club, 54 Bourke St, Richmond.
