Methylamphetamine, GBL and cash has been seized from a Schofields address following an investigation into drug supply in the Wollongong area.
Police officers attached to Strike Force Aperta attended a Prairie Street address about 7.30am last Friday, April 12, serving a Firearms Prohibition Order and Weapons Prohibition Order upon a 33-year-old man and searching the premises.
"Officers allegedly located 476 grams of methylamphetamine, 20ml of methylamphetamine oil, 100ml of GBL, $2800 cash and various other exhibits relevant to the investigation," a police statement said.
The man was taken to Riverstone Police Station and charged with two counts of drug supply over a large commercial quantity, drug supply over commercial quantity, supply prohibited drug between small and indictable quantity, and organise drug premises expose child.
He was refused bail and appeared at Blacktown Local Court on April 12, where he was remanded in custody to reappear at the same court on April 17.
Strike Force Aperta was initiated in October 2018 to investigate drug supply in the region, and has resulted in the arrest of numerous people for drug supply and fraud offences.
Inquiries under the Strike Force continue, police stated.
