The children of Pitt Town Early Learning Centre let Aussie troops know they were thinking of them in the lead-up to Anzac Day this year.
The children - with their help of their families and the community - gathered together items for care packages and sent them in person to our hard-working forces.
"On Friday, April 4, our Prep Kangaroo Children walked down to our local Post Office in Pitt Town to post our Anzac Day packages for our very well deserved Troops," said centre manager Catherine Magazzu.
"Our Pitt Town Early Learning Centre family and community united and gathered different snacks, chocolate items, biscuit spreads, lollies, biscuits and sweets for our Troops to enjoy."
Ms Magazzu said the children had a role to play in gathering the items for the troops.
"Children helped parents purchase the goods and bought them in for our collection," she said.
"Our Kangaroo Children felt very happy to walk these packages to the Post Office to send off. A great giving experience for children to experience."
