YouthFest 19, a free event for Hawkesbury's young people aged 12-25, is on at Richmond Park on Friday, April 12, 3-8pm, as part of National Youth Week.
Organised by North Richmond Youth Project, Hawkesbury City Council and Hawkesbury Youth Interagency, it is designed to be a great night our for young people.
Activities will include bubble soccer and a bungee trampoline, and there will be live music and entertainment from local talents including dances, solo acts and bands. There will also be plenty of food such as pizza, pancakes and BBQ - all free of charge.
Organisers said, considering Hawkesbury is an isolated area when it comes to health and specialist services, another aim of the event is to provide young people with opportunity to not only have fun, but to also access specialist youth services on the night.
Information from a range of youth services will be on offer including mental health, homelessness/couch surfing, sexual and reproductive health, disability, and health and fitness.
It is a family-friendly event, supervised by police from Windsor Station, and all are welcome.
