The Department of Defence is holding a community walk-in session as part of the investigation and management of per- and poly- fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) on, and in the vicinity of RAAF Base Richmond.
The session is being held to provide an update to the community on the development of the PFAS Management Area Plan.
Members of the project team will be available to discuss and answer questions about the outcomes of the completed environmental investigation as well as provide information on the remediation and management activities being considered as part of the PFAS Management Area Plan.
NSW Government agency representatives will also be available to assist community members.
As there will be no formal presentation, community members are welcome to attend at any time during the session. Light refreshments will be provided.
The session will take place on Tuesday, April 16 in the Tebbutt Room at Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor, from 1-7pm (visit any time).
