A 22-year-old man has suffered a laceration to his back after an alleged home invasion in Windsor.
Three men allegedly forced their way into a Harris Street home about 1.20am on Friday, March 15, and then became involved with the 22-year-old occupant, police said in a statement.
"[The man] suffered a laceration to his back," police stated. "Three other occupants of the home, an adult male and female, and a female child, were uninjured.
"The three offenders fled the scene after taking a sum of money. They were last seen running across a reserve in Harris Street."
Hawkesbury police and specialist officers attended, however the men were not located. A crime scene was established, which was examined by forensic specialists.
The injured man was treated on-scene by Ambulance paramedics.
Inquiries into the incident are continuing.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward, and are particularly appealing for anyone who may have CCTV on James Meehan Street to check their footage and notify police if they observe a vehicle in the area about 1.20am on March 15.
