Joel Brunker was unable to take home an IBF title on Saturday night

It was a sold out crowd at Windsor Function Centre on Saturday to watch Joel Brunker's IBF title bout against Tanzania's Bruno Vifuaviwili.

Brunker and Bruno were fighting for the IBF Pan Pacific Super Featherweight Title, which would hopefully lead to a world title fight for Brunker if he won.

The fight went for a full 12 rounds which saw both fighters showcase their skill as pound for pound fighters.

Bruno was victorious on the night, managing to tie up Brunker and limit his dangerous body shots.

"I was not able to fight," said Joel. "He was allowed to hug and push me to the rope … He just wouldn't let me through my punches."

"It was a really scrappy fight. I was just tied up … He wrestled me all night."

Bruno's speed was something that his opposition was aware of heading into the match, but he came out with a high energy that pushed Brunker.

Despite some good rounds throughout the fight from the local that gave the crowd hope, he was just unable to get past the Tanzanian who kept locking him up.

"Thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting me. It was a packed … a sold out crowd."

Bruno was awarded the win by way of unanimous decision, taking home the title.

Local amateur fighters dominated the undercard on the night walking away with some big wins.

Reece Farmer from No Limits Gym Richmond took down his opponent Seth 'Hurt Business' Burgess.

Local supporters of Farmer expected big things from him on the night and he didn't disappoint.

He dominated the bout from start to end as he was more technical than Burgess.

Antonio Ponce, another member of No Limits, put in a commanding performance against Castle Hill's Luke Ugov in their rematch titled 'Unfinished Business'.

Ponce has been undefeated so far in his young career and actually managed to knock Ugov down twice in their three rounds.

He won by unanimous decision maintaining his undefeated record.
