A man has been charged after a second was knocked unconscious and suffered head injuries during an alleged assault at Rouse Hill.
Emergency services found the alleged victim unconscious in the car park of a licensed premises on Commercial Road about 2am on Sunday, February 10, according to police.
“Police were told the man was punched by two men, unknown to him, following an argument,” a police statement said..
“The 19-year-old Doonside man was taken to Westmead Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
“A crime scene was established and officers from The Hills Police Area Command commenced an investigation.”
A 19-year-old Willmot man attended Mt Druitt Police Station the same afternoon and was arrested. He was taken to Riverstone Police Station, where he was charged with recklessly cause grievous bodily harm, and common assault, police stated.
Inquiries into the incident are continuing.
