Firefighters have spent several hours extinguishing a blaze that destroyed a home at South Windsor.
A NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) spokesman said firefighters were called to the scene shortly before 3.50am on Sunday, January 13, arriving to find the Reynolds Road house well alight.
House completely destroyed in blaze
“There were seven RFS fire appliances on scene, as well as crews from NSW Fire and Rescue,” the spokesman said.
“The house was well ablaze and they did not leave until 7am.”
The house was unoccupied at the time and no one was injured in the incident, he said.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and investigations by fire authorities are continuing.
