Hawkesbury Cricket Club is preparing for a Twenty20 double header this Sunday, December 2, in what is a precursor to this year’s Big Bash League.
The Hawks will be playing two games at Owen Earle Oval against Campbelltown-Camden and Penrith.
The games are the final two rounds of the Kingsgrove Sport T20 Cup.
Wins in both matches will see the Hawks advance to the quarter finals.
After convincingly beating Western Suburbs on Sunday [November 25] Hawkesbury are coming into this weekend on a high.
Wests only managed 6/109 off 20 overs, which was an easy total for the Hawks who reached 2/112 from just 10 overs.
The club is looking to create a carnival atmosphere on Sunday, hosting a sponsors lunch, a happy hour and barbecue.
The first game against Campbelltown-Camden is set to begin at 10am, followed by the Penrith match at 2.30pm.
