One man has been charged after a second was allegedly shot in the abdomen with a .22 calibre firearm at Grose Vale.
Emergency services were called to a Grose Vale Road home about 5:30pm on Saturday, November 3, following reports a man had been shot.
“On arrival police found an 18-year-old man suffering a bullet wound to the left abdomen,” police sais in a statement.
“He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Hawkesbury Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.”
Hawkesbury Police Area Command detectives attended and established a crime scene, and an 18-year-old man attended Windsor Police Station the following day where he was arrested and charged with discharging a firearm intending to cause grievous bodily harm, possessing an unauthorised firearm, and not keeping a firearm safely.
The man from Grose Vale was granted conditional bail to appear before Windsor Local Court on November 15.
The firearm has been seized by police.
