Hawkesbury police have conducted one of their cutest jobs yet, coming to the aid of a group of ducklings in the middle of the road.
The six cute ducklings were spotted in the middle of the road outside Windsor police station, and officers immediately came to their aid.
“Police called the ducklings off the road and they ran up to police and into their arms,” a statement from the local officers said.
“A check of the surrounding area and a canvass of neighbours could not locate their parents.
“They are currently being cared for by Police until they can be collected by a WIRES representative.
“Every day in policing is different; its not only humans that need our help but sometimes its the fluffy kind that seek assistance from police.”
