A service station attendant had his jaw broken by two men during an alleged robbery at Wilberforce.
CCTV images have been released by police following the incident, which occurred shortly after 10pm on Saturday, September 1.
Two men travelling in a black Nissan Navara stopped at the Wilberforce Road petrol station and approached the attendant, who was in the process of closing the store, police said in a statement.
“[They] demanded to be served. When they were told the petrol station had closed, the two men became aggressive and assaulted the attendant,” police stated.
“The men fled and were last seen travelling south on Putty Road, Wilberforce.
“The injured man was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Nepean Hospital for treatment of a broken jaw.”
Hawkesbury police attended, and CCTV images of a vehicle and a man seen leaving the area have now been released.
The vehicle depicted is a Nissan Navara dual cab with a large blue ‘Shimano’ sticker on the rear window.
Detectives would also like to speak to two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The men are described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, of medium build and average height, and small dark beards.
