Tickets are $35 per person, and partners are welcome. Included is finger food and DJ, and drinks are available from the bar. Dress is smart casual.

“Please spread the word and invite friends to this event, so that we can reach as many people as possible,” reads the event website.

Event organiser Sue Rockell (nee Carrey) said the event is for students who were in Year 9 in 1975, Year 10 in 1976, Year 11 in 1977, and Year 12 in 1978, as well as their teachers. Students who attended any of these classes – even if they left before year 12 – are invited to attend the anniversary.

“Two of those who will be attending will be travelling from the United States and Canada to reconnect with school friends, but unfortunately we have been unable to make contact with all of the relevant students,” she said, in the hope that those involved can help spread the word.
