Time is running out to submit your entries for our We Are Hawkesbury: People and their Pets.
“We’re still accepting pics up to close of business on Friday [August 31],” said Gazette editor Matt Lawrence.
“As the name implies, we’re looking for shots of pets and their people. And not just dogs and cats … birds, lizards, horses, cows, anything.”
From the entries a shortlist of 30 will be chosen for a professional photo shoot with Gazette photographer Geoff Jones.
The finished collection will appear later in the year in print and in several other exciting formats.
“We’ve had some great images sent through so far,” said Lawrence. “I can’t wait to see the final results.”
Jones said he looked forward to taking the final images.
“I really want to capture that connection between pet and owner,” he said.
