Community groups, friends, schools and businesses, your walking shoes are calling you to register for the Cancer Council’s Hawkesbury Relay for Life.
Moving and fun best describes the Hawkesbury Relay for Life. Few people have not been affected by cancer, whether it be themselves, a relative or friend.
Hawkesbury Relay for Life, at Hawkesbury Showground, Clarendon kicks off at 9.30am on September 22, 2018 finishing 24 hours later.

Teams are allocated a campsite on the side of the track to promote their business/group and rest area between laps.
Not only is there the camaraderie of your team to keep you entertained and uplifted, bands, musicians, market stalls, emergency services displays, children’s games and many other events will keep the blood pumping.
Food vendors will cater for the health conscious as well as those needing a sugar fix to sprint through their laps.
Grose View Public School are the first school team to register this year, and have challenged all Hawkesbury schools to take the challenge.
Team captain and kindergarten teacher, Mrs Belinda Harrington said the school was looking forward to a fun weekend with their students and families.
Mrs Harrington said she was excited to watch principal Mr Feneley pit his skills against the students in battle on the gladiator inflatable.
Kindergarten student Jaxon Tulk has attended every relay since he was . He was on his mum's team, but this this year will be proudly relaying with his school.
After Grose View Public School put out the call, Kurrajong Public School quickly registered.

Running is not mandatory, a leisurely walk is more than acceptable. You can go home to sleep or camp overnight while others soldier on throughout the night. In the morning you can rejoin for the final hours until 9.30am.
