As the Federal Liberals battle amongst themselves to determine who will be Australia's next Prime Minister, many of the voting public have been left gobsmacked by the process.
We asked our readers via Facebook whether they believed closed door party voting should determine the installation of Australia's top public official.
The response was overwhelming.
"Can you imagine anyone of these four [Bushop, Dutton, Morrison, Turnbull] riding up to the governor general's castle and saying we have the numbers to form government?" said Donyu Levy. "Didn't Malcolm just quit? Who has faith in this circus?"
Sean Ward said he believed the matter was "beyond a joke".
"I'm not a Liberal fan - Labor is no better - but this chopping and changing by both parties is ridiculous," he said.
Tahlia Bouletos said that when a party decided it needed a leadership change and public vote should take place.
Mel and Brian Harrison agreed with Ms Bouletos.
"The people should be allowed to vote for more than just one, not just Liberal or Labor. We should be allowed to vote for Pauline Hanson as well to be Prime Minister. She would be better off with the control of Australia as she cares and these clowns don't!"
