Mid-range drink driving arrest
A man stopped by police due to his manner of driving has been charged with mid-range PCA.
Hawkesbury police stopped the vehicle about 3am on Sunday, August 12 on Hawkesbury Valley Way at Windsor, officers stated.
“The [driver] was subjected to a roadside breath test, which proved positive,” police stated. “He was arrested and taken to Windsor police station for the purpose of a breath analysis, which returned a reading in the mid range.”
A 44-year-old Katoomba man was issued with a court attendance notice for mid-range PCA. His licence was suspended on the spot and he is due to appear before Windsor Local Court next month.
