The drug ice has allegedly been discovered inside a vehicle travelling without its lights on through South Windsor.
Detectives from Windsor spotted the car travelling on Bell Street shortly after 1am on Saturday, August 4, and pulled it over, according to a statement from Hawkesbury police.
“A breath test proved negative,” the statement said.
“Due to the actions of [a passenger], he was searched with police locating a small plastic resealable bag containing small white coloured granules, believed to be the drug, 'ice'.”
A 22-year-old Box Hill man was issued with a field court attendance notice for possessing a prohibited drug, and he is due to appear before Windsor Local Court later this month.
