THE Nor-West Jets have suffered a close loss at the hands of the Randwick City Saints, losing by just five points in AFL Sydney action.

It was a close contest for the entire match. The Jets led by one point at quarter time, and then seven at the half, before the Saints slowly clawed their way into the lead.
The Saints kicked two goals to one in the final term to snatch the win.
Aiden Sharvell and Joe Groenewegen both kicked two goals each for the Jets, while Daniel Costa and Jesse Whitelaw also got on the scoreboard.
The Jets have retained fifth-place on the ladder after the loss, and are tied with the North Shore Bombers on 24 points.
In round 14, the Jets will be back at Bensons Lane to host the Wollondilly Knights on Saturday, July 28.
