An accident at a family’s workshed in Broken Hill has claimed the lives of a father and his two sons.
Broken Hill police said a report will be prepared for the Coroner following the death of three family members in Broken Hill.
“About 4.30pm (Thursday 28 June) emergency services were called to a home on Creedon Street, Broken Hill, following reports three people were unconscious in a rear shed,” Broken Hill police said.
“On arrival police and NSW Ambulance paramedics located a 44-year-old man, and two boys, aged 16 and 23 unresponsive.
“All three were taken to Broken Hill Hospital but sadly passed away.
“Officers from Barrier Police District have established a crime scene at the premises. It will be some time before officers can gain access safely to conduct a full investigation. Inquiries continue.”
The incident is believed to involve the use of a generator.
