WINDSOR Mall Sunday Markets will turn purple in aid of Hawkesbury Relay For Life on Sunday, July 29.
Businesses and stall holders in the mall and across Windsor town centre are being encouraged to participate in the Paint the Town Purple day.
“The plan is to decorate the mall with as much purple as possible,” Hawkesbury Relay For Life chair Rebecca Tulk said.
“We’ll have a sausage sizzle operating throughout the day, there will be busking, street dancing, face painting and some other activities.”
Ms Tulk said she hoped the community embraced the concept.
“We’ve sent a letter to market stallholders explaining what we are doing, asking them to get involved and encouraging them to come to Relay,” she said.
“The president of the Windsor Mall Sunday Markets is extremely excited to host us and if all goes well, it will become an annual event.”

Hawkesbury Relay for Life is on the weekend of September 22 and 23 at Hawkesbury Showground.
