THE Nor-West Jets were outclassed by the Pennant Hills Demons on the weekend, after the clubs sat out the previous long weekend.
The Demons were far too good at home in the round nine match in the first division of the AFL Sydney competition, winning 8.25-73 to 6.6-42.
The Jets led at the close of the first quarter in the match, kicking two goals to nil, however, a strong second period saw the Demons wrestle their way back into the match, as they kicked four goals to one.
The second period proved the difference as both teams kicked two goals each in both the third and final terms, although the Demons managed plenty of minor scores too.
Brad Burns was the leading goal scorer for the Jets with two to his name on Saturday afternoon.
The loss was the fourth of the season for the Jets, who have five wins as well through nine weeks, and sit in third place on the ladder.
In round 10, the Jets have another tough away trip, as they take on first placed-Sydney University on Saturday afternoon.
