RIVERSTONE will receive more bus services into the town after a state government announcement today, which will see more bus routes across New South Wales.
The 662 route from box Hill to Riverstone will receive extra services, though is the only suburb in the Hawkesbury region to receive more or new services.
Meanwhile, Transport for New South Wales made changes to some Hawkesbury bus routes which came into effect on June 3.
The 742 route has been created to run on limited services between the Rouse Hill Town Centre and Riverstone. The 747 route is another new one that will run between the Rouse Hill Town Centre and Riverstone every day of the week. Both services have replaced the T75 route, which will no longer run to Riverstone.
Route 746 has been extended to service Box Hill, and will see 60 more trips per week between Riverstone and Rouse Hill via Box Hill.
Route 751 has been extended to run between Blacktown and Rouse Hill via Marsden Park and Schofields, with extra services put on.
