HAWKESBURY Basketball Association’s representative teams had a great weekend, with most securing victories.
In the Basketball NSW Waratah League, the division one men took care of the Port Macquarie Dolphins on Sunday after a road trip to Port Macquarie.
The team won 77-56 with Hilary Zakria top scoring with 26 points for the Jets. Zakria hit two three-pointers, and hit with nine other shots.
Harman Josan was not far behind with 24 points in the match.
Meanwhile, back in the Hawkesbury the division two men had a four goal victory over the Hills Hornets, winning 84-80.
Musab Mousa was the top point scorer for the Jets with 18 points.
However, it was not just the top representative teams securing wins, with the juniors also pitching in as well.
At the Hawkesbury Indoor Stadium, the under-18s men beat the Inner West Bulls, the under-14 women beat the Springwood Scorchers and the under-12 boys beat the Camden Valley Wildfire.
The under-18 men had a particularly close victory, winning 55-51.
For the teams that travelled, the under-16s men beat the Springwood Scorchers and the under-14s men beat the Inner West Bulls.
It means the under-12 boys, as well as both under-14s teams are on top of their respective ladders.
