Freemans Reach Road to be closed to all bar local traffic as upgrades are completed
FREEMANS Reach Road will be closed to all but local traffic for a month from May 28, as work is done to upgrade the road.
Two sections of the road will be closed to through traffic, as work is done by Roads and Maritime Services to upgrade it. Preliminary work will start on May 24. The is expected to take roughly four weeks.
Through traffic between Wilberforce Road and Gorricks Lane will be diverted, though locals as well as buses and emergency services will still have access to the road.
Traffic diversions will be along Kurmond Road and Wilberforce road.
