THE Hawkesbury Jets basketball men had a big win over the Port Macquarie Dolphins at the weekend in the Waratah Basketball league, as the team hosted a home double header.
The Jets won 101-56 at the Hawkesbury Indoor Stadium, with Hilary Zakria the top scorer with 27 points from the match.
American import Daniel Calcatera was second with 19 points in the round nine match.
Both Zakria and Calcatera hit three three-pointers each, while Zakria added another eight baskets.
It was the second win for the Jets so far this season.
After the division one men, it was the youth team losing 74-59 to the Hornsby Spiders at the Hawkesbury Indoor Stadium’s double header. The team has three victories so far this season.
This weekend the division one men have a road trip to Tamworth scheduled, while the youth men will take on the Macarthur Heat in Minto.
