HAWKESBURY City Football Association’s draw with the Camden Tigers at the weekend has seen its first grade side stay atop the ladder for another week.
The Football NSW NPL 3 match saw both teams score two goals apiece and settle for the draw down at the club’s Bensons Lane facility.
The scores were tied up at 1-1 at the half, before both teams snagged second-term goals.
City’s Daniel Morsillo scored his ninth goal of the season for the club, while Michael McCrory scored his first in the round 10 match.
City now sits one point clear of St George on the ladder, with 24 points, but still in first place.
City will also play in the sixth round of the FFA Cup. City has drawn an away game against Sydney Olympic for the sixth round. It will be a tough ask for City playing against Olympic, one of Sydney’s top clubs.
In round 11, City will travel to take on the Granville Rage at Garside Park at 7pm on Saturday.
