Windsor Rotary Pride of Workmanship awards recipients named for 2018

Each year the Rotary Club of Windsor seeks nominations from the community and employers, for people who are deserving of recognition for taking the responsibility to do their job consistently well.

Windsor Rotary President Robert Bishop said: “To the awardees go our congratulations for their commitment to a job well done. To their sponsors, our thanks for their nominations and for recognising those qualities of workmanship that will help build a better Australia.”

This year’s recipients were Colin Chapman of Sydney Trains, Jamie Anderson from Hawkesbury City Council, Gopal Ramasamy from Kurrajong Kitchens, Joanne Boyd of South Windsor Medical Centre, Shelley Whalan from Fitzgerald Aged Care, Windsor Post Office’s Cheryl Dixon and Joanne Puglisi, Andrew Hayes from George St Loft Café and Joshua Wood of Windsor Dry Cleaners.

The Pride of Workmanship Program is designed to acknowledge community members who display outstanding qualities in terms of approach, dedication, attitude and commitment to service. 

The program began in 1975 in Australia and has grown to be a Rotary International project, and has been adopted by over 600 clubs around the world.
