THE Secret Garden and Nursery has invited Hawkesbury residents to see its new grounds at the Western Sydney University-Hawkesbury campus during autumn for the first time.
There will be free entry and parking to the garden on May 12, along with entertainment and plenty of food on offer. The garden is calling the event its Autumn Fair.
“We feel excited to be hosting our second Autumn Fair at the New Secret Garden to share with the community in this beautiful rural setting,” said the Co-ordinator, Marianne Farrar.
“I am sure everyone will be surprised to see the unique buildings and landscape that our many volunteers and supporters have created.”
Farrar said there was a retail nursery, accessible gardens, farmyard animals, a children’s playground, a fairy garden, the Mud Brick Café, candle making, music room, recycling project, woodwork workshop, Hawkesbury Valley Men’s Shed and Riding for the Disabled all on site at the campus.
The garden’s location is at Clydesdale Lane, Western Sydney University, Richmond Campus. Entry via Vines Drive, off Londonderry Road, Richmond – follow the signs.
