A police investigation is underway after a man suffered stab wounds during a home invasion in Pitt Town on Thursday morning.
About 3.15am, emergency services were called to a home on Glebe Road after reports two armed men had forced entry into a home.
When police arrived, the two men had left the scene.
A 35-year-old male occupant suffered multiple stab wounds to his leg.
A female occupant, aged in her 60s, suffered a laceration to her head.
Another male occupant, aged in his 60s, suffered a shoulder injury.
All three occupants were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene, before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
Hawkesbury police officers established a crime scene and launched an investigation into the incident.
