AFTER an opening round loss, the Nor-West Jets have bounced back with a victory over Sydney University in AFL Sydney division one competition.
The Jets had a 14-point victory after travelling to take on Sydney University on Saturday, winning 10.9-69 to 7.13-55.
Scott Braid and Michael Sieders both kicked three goals apiece in the win. Aiden Sharvell, Casey Wenselowski and Joshua Molloy all kicked one apiece as well.
The Jets took a one-point lead into quarter time, and the scores were level at the half, before the Jets had a great third quarter where they outscored their opponents 26-0.
The Jets were actually held scoreless in the fourth period, with Sydney University adding two goals to their total, but the Jets had done the damage in the third.
The win has moved the Jets into fifth place on the AFL Sydney division one ladder.
The Nor-West Jets will take on the North Shore Bombers on Saturday at Bensons Lane from 2pm.
