Police have released CCTV images of a group who may be able to assist with inquiries into a possible assault in a hotel room in Sydney’s west last year.
Just after 11am on Monday 18 December 2017, police from Hawkesbury Police Area Command were called hotel at Vineyard, after cleaners reported blood spatter on the walls and furnishings.
An investigation was commenced, and initial inquiries revealed it was likely someone had been seriously assaulted in the room earlier that morning.
Detectives conducted an extensive canvass at the hotel and nearby licensed premises but have yet to determine exactly what occurred.
As inquiries continue, police have released CCTV images of a group of people, who they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The first image depicts six men at the licensed premises on the Sunday (17 December 2018).
The second image depicts four of the men and a woman, who appear to be leaving the location later in the evening.
Anyone who recognises any of the people depicted in the photo are urged to contact Crime Stoppers as soon as possible.
