Another week and sadly, not a great deal of quality league to discuss. Such is the way of NRL season 2018. Something's gotta give say the lads during our Round 5 In The Clear NRL Podcast.
On this week’s podcast, regulars Chris Boulous and Matt Lawrence are joined by fellow FairfaxMedia alumni Josh Bartlett.
They reflect on year another round plagued by incessant whistle-blowing and letter-of-the-law refs decisions.
Bartlett, in his first cross for the year, says it’s a sad day when you find yourself spending more time talking about the refereeing than you do the actual gameplay.
On a brighter note, the lads once again hail the early form of the Dragons and ponder their next few weeks. Boulous reckons if they can snag two from the next four they’ll be doing well.
As always, the boys offer their tips for the coming round, but fellow tipsters beware, so far they’ve been traveling about as good as the Eels, so take their advice with a grain of sand.
