Australia has continued on from where it left off in Perth on the first day of the Boxing Day Test.
Opener David Warner has asserted himself and after a first session which yielded England just a single wicket, Warner – dramatically – racked up another century.
After more than half an hour in the 90s, he played a dodgy cross-bat prod off the bowling of newcomer Tom Curran and was seemingly caught at mid-on for 99.
But a video review shows Curran over-stepped and it was a no-ball.
Warner didn’t need an invitation to return to the crease and smacked a single to bring up his 21st Test century.
The joy didn’t last too long for the opener however. He was caught behind off Jimmy Anderson just three runs later.
